Your game, on any screen
Remote Play streams the client that is already running on your PC to your phone, tablet or another computer: a phone on the couch, a laptop at work, a tablet in bed. The PC does the rendering, you do the playing, from anywhere. No app, no port forwarding, nothing installed on the device you hold.
How it works
Start the game through the launcher as always and switch Remote Play on in its settings. On the other device, open the player site, pick your running client, and the picture and sound arrive within seconds; your taps, keys and mouse travel back the same way. The PC can even be locked: a locked Windows keeps streaming and keeps playing.
Straight from your PC
The stream goes from your PC to your device directly, never through our servers; the site only introduces the two. A real 60 frames a second with game audio, encoded on your graphics card. Three presets: Data saver at 720p (about 1.3 GB an hour), Balanced at 1080p (about 3.5 GB), High at full resolution for Wi-Fi (about 10 GB). On a network that refuses a direct path, mobile data usually opens one.
Built for a touchscreen
Two-finger drag turns the camera, pinch zooms, a two-finger tap is a right click, and a button strip plus a keyboard bar cover the rest. In a desktop browser the mouse and keyboard are captured like in the game itself. On an iPhone, add the page to your home screen and it fills the screen.
Locked to you
A four-digit PIN set in the launcher guards every session, and the site never sees it. One device plays at a time, and while it does, the keyboard and mouse of the PC itself do not reach the game; both come back the moment the remote session ends. Every session is logged to your account.
What you need
Launcher 2.4.5 or newer on a Windows PC with the game running, a graphics card with a hardware video encoder (NVIDIA, AMD and Intel all have one), and a current browser on the other end: Chrome or another Chromium browser, or Safari on iPhone and iPad.
