We run on the latest official Essence retail core, keeping all gameplay balance, classes, and mechanics exactly as intended. The only change is to progression. We remove pay-to-win systems and make everything earned through in-game play, much like how old Lineage 2 worked, but with all the newest content. The server uses official retail rates, with a dynamic party experience boost to encourage group play.
Just click the "Begin Your Journey" button at the top right of the page. This will take you to our Eva account system where you can create an account and log in. From there, head to the download section to grab the client installer. The installer will automatically fetch and install the latest client version for you, so you’re always up to date and ready to play.
No. All pay-to-win systems have been completely removed. You cannot buy power, gear, progression, or even cosmetics. Everything is earned by playing the game. This creates a fair environment where your time and effort determine your success and style.
If you want to support our project, you can purchase mission completion tickets and an abundance rune. These give you points that can be used to buy consumables from a special shop. All of these consumables are also available through normal gameplay. There are no exclusive items here, this is simply a way to thank supporters without giving any unfair advantage.
In-game, you’ll have daily and weekly missions that are key to earning currency and progressing. Mission tickets let you instantly complete certain missions without having to do them manually, saving you time on repeat tasks. They don’t give extra rewards beyond what you’d get from doing the mission yourself, they just make it faster if you want a shortcut on routine objectives.
We take security seriously. Your account is protected by IP verification, optional two-factor authentication, and hardware ID checks. Our automatic anti-cheat system flags suspicious behavior, and you can see these flags in your launcher account panel. We don’t want to punish players unnecessarily. If your account is flagged but you continue to play fairly, the flag will be removed automatically over time. Only repeated or clear violations lead to an automatic ban to keep the game fair for everyone.
You can create as many accounts as you like and even register them under the same email. However, you can only log in with one account per hardware ID. This means no multiboxing is allowed. It keeps the game fair for everyone by ensuring progression and competition are based on individual players, not armies of alt accounts.
The best way to get help is by linking your Discord account to your game account and opening a support ticket in our Discord at discord.gg/l2eva. Besides support, this link also gives you dynamic in-game to Discord features such as death alerts, disconnect notifications, and even viewing in-game chat channels. If you don’t use Discord or are banned from it, you can always reach us by email at [email protected].
In your website account panel, you can generate referral codes and track the progress of your referrals. If your friends use your code when they sign up and later support the server, you’ll earn balance back on your account. This rewards you for helping grow the community, while all real progression still comes purely from playing the game.
By logging into your account on our website, you can claim daily credits and play small mini-games to earn extra in-game rewards. It’s a fun way to pick up consumables or small bonuses just for being active, without grinding monsters. All serious progression still comes from playing the game itself.

Party members more than 10 levels apart receive significant XP penalties (up to -100% at 15+ level difference). Party range is 2,000 units.
Enchanting
Enchant rates follow retail values. On top of that, L2 EVA features a pity system - every failed enchant attempt accumulates progress based on the enchant's success percentage. Once accumulated failures reach 100%, your next attempt is guaranteed to succeed. For example, if an enchant has a 20% chance, failing 5 times in a row guarantees the 6th attempt will succeed.

Monetization - Rune of Abundance
L2 EVA has no VIP tiers or premium accounts. The only optional purchases are the Rune of Abundance (quality-of-life convenience) and Mission Tickets. The Rune passively generates points while you play, spent at the Abundance Shop (accessible from the bottom bar) on items ranging from scrolls to growth runes. Active bonuses include:

The launcher automatically swaps language files before each launch. In-game chat is translated in real-time using the AI translation system - you can set your preferred language in Eva's Hall and all messages will appear in that language. You can type in any language, including ones not in the list above (Chinese, Korean, Arabic, etc.) - the AI will detect and translate it for other players. Everyone sees chat in their own selected language.

Once registered, we strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) from your account settings. L2 EVA uses TOTP-based 2FA (compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) for an extra layer of security. You can also link your Discord account from the website for identity verification and access to the support ticket system.

Everything starts with one file - the EVA Launcher. Download it from l2eva.com (~100MB, digitally signed by RunicByte).
Three steps to get playing:
Windows SmartScreen warning? The launcher is digitally signed, but new software sometimes triggers SmartScreen. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". You may also want to add the L2EVA folder to your antivirus exceptions.
After logging in for the first time, the launcher handles the full game client download automatically:
Once complete, the launcher extracts the full game client (~37GB) to your install location. Future updates only download changed files and typically take seconds.
Once installed, the launcher dashboard shows server news, your account info, and the Play button. Your account is saved in the launcher's account list - just click Play and you're in the game. No separate login screen, no re-entering credentials. The launcher handles authentication automatically: checks for updates, launches EVA Guard anticheat, and logs you in straight to server/character selection.
IP Verification: By default, your account is protected by IP verification. If you log in from a new IP address, you'll need to verify via email. You can disable IP verification once you enable 2FA.
L2 EVA features all Lineage 2 Essence classes across all races, including the newest additions like Samurai and Blood Rose. Pick your race and starting class, customize your appearance, and enter the world.
Character names are English-only - since L2 EVA is an international server with players from many countries, all character names must use English characters to keep things readable for everyone.
L2 EVA is balanced for group play. Solo grinding is possible but significantly harder - finding a party should always be your first priority. Use the Party Finder to find or create groups.
The Golden Rule: Always Group Up. XP bonuses scale dramatically with party size (up to +160% at 5 players), content is balanced for groups, and Champion mobs (Eva's Forsaken and Eva's Nightmare) spawn randomly while grinding with 2-5x HP and 5-10x EXP rewards. In a group they're manageable. Solo, they can kill you.
A Note on Rankings: The server's top 100 rankings are based on total accumulated EXP across all your classes, not just your current class level. Investing in multiple classes doesn't just unlock Eva's Gift bonuses - it directly boosts your ranking.

At Eva's Beloved (Level 10), you're collecting 10 powerful buffs per day. Building your relationship is one of the most impactful long-term investments you can make.
Part of Eva's Whisper - Eva generates personalized quests tailored to your level, class, and location. The Whisper UI includes a dedicated Quest page and Quest Log.
Rewards per quest part: 50-300 L-Coins, 250,000-1,500,000 Adena, ~0.1% EXP. Requires level 76+.
A Quest HUD Overlay shows your current objective with a Navigate button pointing to the nearest matching mob.
Weekly Server Goal: When the server collectively completes 1,000 quests in a week, all players receive Eva's Divine Grace - a server-wide buff. Work together!
Eva's Bounty completely replaces the classic L2 raid boss system. There are no static raid bosses, no camping or kill-stealing - instead, all bosses are community-driven dynamic events with 40+ bosses across 5 difficulty tiers and contribution-based individual rewards.

Eva's Bounty has a dedicated interface in Eva's Hall with boss schedule, your statistics, live HP bars, and leaderboards. A Raid HUD Overlay shows up to 5 simultaneous raids with boss name, tier, HP%, player count, and zone type.
Boss Fight Experience
Clan Competition: Weekly clan rankings based on boss participation. The winning clan earns a 10% XP bonus for the following week and access to Contested Clan Halls.

Agathion Transmog: Supports agathion appearance overrides using Agathion Soul Crystals (exclusive raid boss drops) plus Mirror Shards.
Title Customization: Choose from 21 colors (25 Shards each) and embed icons (#0-#34) in your character title.
Earning Mirror Shards: Fishing (3% per catch), Universal Spoil (0.01%), Eva's Quests, boss drops, and fish-to-shard trades.
At level 76, every character automatically learns a passive Eva's Balance skill. Underperforming classes receive a damage boost to keep the playing field competitive. The buffs are updated periodically based on class performance data. You don't need to do anything - if your class qualifies, the buff is applied automatically.

L2 EVA features all Lineage 2 Essence classes across every race - Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf, and Kamael - including the latest classes like Samurai and Blood Rose.
Class changes happen automatically - when you meet the level requirements, a popup appears in the bottom right of your screen. Click it to advance. The exception is the 3rd class change, which requires completing a quest and speaking with Orven.
At level 85, you unlock Eva's Subclass System - switch to any 3rd class in the game, regardless of race or archetype.

Open-world PvP activates at level 76. L2 EVA uses the Einhasad Karma System - a 6-tier reputation system tracking player kills.

PvP Rankings: Weekly reset Mondays at 06:30 UTC. 5-minute cooldown between kills on the same target. Top 3 PvP players receive kill effects and free Share Location.
Triggered at 100+ PK kills or -150,000 reputation. A global announcement notifies the entire server, and your victims can enter the prison to hunt you. Released at -135,000 reputation.
Runs Monday through Friday, 22:30-23:00 UTC in 3v3 format exclusively.

Every Saturday at 10:00 UTC, Hellbound opens for the server's biggest weekly PvE challenge. Steel Citadel is accessible all day. Kill 4 Hellbound Commanders to unlock Darion (Tier 4), then defeat Darion to unlock Beleth - the Tier 5 final boss with 1 billion HP.
Beleth features 4 HP phases with scripted combos, minion waves at 75%/50%/25%/10% HP, enrage at 50% with 20+ players (+70% damage, +50% defense, +40% speed). Recommended 40-100+ players.
The world runs on a 4-hour real-time day/night cycle with approximately 1 real hour of night.

All dungeons use a solo queue matchmaking system. Queue via the Special Zone menu, the system auto-forms 5-player parties. One entry per day per dungeon, 30-minute time limit.

Hunt Corrupted Fairies (3% chance to spawn a portal to Spirit King bosses). Each Spirit King has a 5% chance to drop an Evolution Stone. Fast-paced race to find portals and chain boss kills.

Teleports to 1 of 4 random variants. After the boss, a 25% chance to unlock the Cat Guild's Lair bonus dungeon. Signature drops: Hero Circlet, Dragon Belt, Cloak, Pendant pieces.

10-stage linear dungeon with progressively harder enemies and a shadow clone mechanic. Culminates in 4 bosses, with the final Flame Dragon having a 20% chance to drop an Agathion Dragon Egg.
Level 87+ 13:30-14:30 & 20:30-21:30 UTC
The hardest dungeon. Navigate 4 sepulcher wings with Archon bosses. Between rooms, treasure chests present a 50/50 gamble: Key (+5 minutes) or Curse (-30% P.Def, -30% M.Crit Rate). Only ~12.5% chance to reach final boss Morigul uncursed.
Level-scaled solo instance with mobs scaling to your bracket (75-94). Wave-based combat with periodic behemoth boss rounds. Relevant at every stage of progression.
A level 92 hunting zone accessible via teleport (50,000 Adena). Endgame grinding area and location for the Frintezza world boss event (Eva's Bounty Tier 4).
Night Only 3 tiers: Level 80 / 85 / 90
Night-only hunting zones with Ancient Adena drops (20% rate per kill, 200 daily cap). Access via the UI popup when night falls. Daily mission: 200 kills. Weekly mission: 2,000 kills. Auto-kick at daytime. Primary source of Ancient Adena and one of the best farming spots with a full group.

Top 100 server rank players receive permanent daily stat buffs (persist through death). Rank 1 gets All stats +1, Evasion +20, STR/INT +1, Potion Recovery +50, Weight Limit +100,000. Race Rank 1 gets a unique racial buff + cosmetic transformation.

Special Craft: Energy from Eva's Bounty feeds into Special Craft for augment stones, enchant scrolls, doll coupons, ornament skins, and more.
7 pet types: Wolf (Melee DPS), Buffalo (Tank/AoE), Tiger (Vital point DPS), Kookaburra (Mage AoE), Dragon (Fast melee/stun), Hawk (Ranged DPS), Fox (Utility/speed).

Invest Energy into guardian equipment (Earring, Ring, Locket, Pendant) and 7 active buff skills from Guardian's Protection books. Each pet type has its own unique buff. Passive bonuses include Lamp XP Bonus (10% proc) and Craft Points Bonus (5% proc at pet level 90).

L2 EVA's only monetization option. Passively generates 10 points per 10 minutes while online (max 200,000 stored), spent at the Abundance Shop (accessible from the bottom bar) on items ranging from scrolls to growth runes. Active bonuses: +20% weight, +5 World Exchange slots, 50-150 daily Eva's Whisper interactions.
Extract unwanted items for Craft Points, then spend those points to generate 5 random items. Choose one, or refresh. Lock specific slots to keep items you like. All crafted items are tradable. Some rare ornament skins are exclusively available through Random Craft.
Secret Shop (21:00-23:00 UTC): Purchase tickets on the website or earn from missions. Three prize tiers with limited stock, first come first served.
Daily Lottery (23:00 UTC): 100,000 Adena entry (Level 85+). Winners share 70% of the jackpot.
Monster Race Track: Races every 5 minutes, 8 lanes, 2x/5x/10x payouts. Overall positive net income. Big wins can trigger bonus jackpot rewards like Mirror Shards.
World Exchange is the server-wide player marketplace. List items for sale or post buy requests. Browse, buy, and sell from anywhere. Rune of Abundance grants +5 listing slots. Also available: L-Coin Shop, Clan Shop, and Multisell NPCs.
Main source of free consumables. PvE track (1,000 mob kills) and PvP track (10 player kills). 1 default opening slot, up to 4 total with L-Coins.

Exclusive to Spoiler Dwarves. Any mob level 76+ can be spoiled regardless of spoil table. Adds Random Craft materials plus rare drops (Mirror Shard, Magic Tablet, Dye Powder at 0.01% each). Works seamlessly with autohunt.
Fully automated from level 20+ across 18 zones. 45% success rate, 60-120 second cast time. Catches: Blue Mackerel (65%), Fresh Mackerel (32%), Mirror Shard (3%). Cook fish into +10%/+30% EXP buff food, or trade 120 Blue + 60 Fresh for 1 Mirror Shard.
Multiple mount types including striders, wyverns, and special mounts. Castle winning clan leaders get an exclusive flying wyvern. Mount skills (Fast Run, Silent Ride) persist across Eva's Subclass changes.

Contested Clan Halls: Top 3 Eva's Bounty clans earn access to special halls with premium benefits. Only eligible for clans without an existing hall.

Weekly contribution tracking earns Honor Coins for the Clan Shop. The shop offers exclusive items including full S-grade weapon skins for the ornament system. Clan Stronghold Devices are capturable objects in specific zones that grant EXP boosts to all clan members farming there.
Category-based drop system - each drop category is rolled independently per mob kill, so you can get drops from multiple categories on a single kill. Use the in-game monster database to view exact drop tables.
Retail enchant rates with EVA additions:
Full cosmetic system with Outfits (full-body overrides), Ornament Enchanting (visual weapon effects per tier), Chat Name Backgrounds, and Kill Effects (from PvP rankings).
Enhanced through a 15-level blessing system. Each blessing assigns a random level (1-15) with scaling P.Atk/M.Atk bonuses (level x5, up to +100 at max) and a random visual appearance. High-tier blessed cloaks display visible effects to nearby players.

Visit play.l2eva.com and register a new account.
Check your email for a verification link. This can take 2-3 minutes - check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
After verifying, enable Two-Factor Authentication in your account settings. This way you won't need to verify your IP every time you log in.
Visit the Download page and download the EVA Launcher.
Run the launcher installer. Select your preferred language, follow the steps, and the EVA Launcher will open automatically when installation is complete.
Log in with your account credentials. Once on the dashboard, click the Install button to begin the game client installation.
Once installation is complete, select your account from the account list and click Play.
Before launching, you can optionally configure:
Sync your Windows clock. The anticheat requires your system time to be accurate. If your clock is off by more than a few minutes, you won't be able to log in.
Check your antivirus. If any game files are flagged, add the entire game folder to your antivirus exceptions list.
Crashes or low FPS? Disable the Vulkan renderer in the launcher. It's experimental and may not work with all graphics cards, particularly newer AMD GPUs.
Older PC or laptop? Enable Performance Mode in the launcher - it's the wand icon in the top-right corner. This optimizes resource usage for smoother operation.
Once logged in, press Alt+L to reset your UI to match your screen resolution. You can then drag and reposition any UI elements to your liking.
Follow the quest line - this is your primary way to level up and learn the game's systems. Don't skip quests early on.
Open the L-Coin Shop and purchase the Starter Pack and Eva's Cube for 100 Adena each. The Starter Pack gives you initial gear, and Eva's Cube is a 14-day reward box - click it once per day to receive a different reward each day.
Level 76+ - Start completing available missions. These are your top priority - they reward L-Coins for the shop and materials to upgrade your character.
At level 76 you'll receive a free pet gift from Eva. Choose your companion and level it up - pets provide buffs, EXP boosts, and valuable utility that will help you throughout the game.
Group up. You gain more EXP in a party, and all missions and quests are significantly easier with a group. Don't try to solo content harder than your level - find a party instead.
Level 85+ - Prioritize Eva's Bounty Raids. These are public events you can join even solo. They reward valuable currency for character upgrades, plus EXP and Adena.
Catacombs open every 4 hours - these are the best EXP farming spots in the game. Farm them as a group to earn Ancient Adena, which you can spend at the Ancient Adena Shop for gear.
You can obtain free spellbooks to learn and upgrade your skills from multiple sources:
You can purchase up to 5 Eva's Passes per month from the L-Coin Shop. This should be your highest priority purchase. You earn L-Coins by completing missions.
Each pass rewards Giran Seals - used to craft spellbooks - and Eva's Coins, which can be traded for valuable items.
Claim your Hunt Pass rewards as you progress - free items and materials for hitting milestones.
Check your Mission Progress Rewards - bonus rewards for completing mission milestones.
Collect your Daily Gift from the Gift Calendar every day. Don't miss free rewards.
