Patch Notes - August 24, 2026

August 24, 2026 · L2EVA

Eva's Mirror Native Window

  1. The Native Window is Live. Eva's Mirror now has its own native window instead of running through the old Eva window system. Browse, search, filter and manage your whole appearance in one place with instant previews — the sidebar Mirror button takes you straight there.

  2. Wardrobe and Try-On. Browse every category, search by name, favorite your most-worn looks, unlock with Mirror Shards, apply and remove freely, or seal all unlocked appearances at once. The try-on preview lets you compose full multi-slot outfits and inspect them from every angle before spending anything.

  3. Agathion Tab. Agathion appearances get their own tab with equip previews, an applied-state marker, and a new Remove button to take the current appearance off.

  4. Styles: Beauty, Hair, Title, and Race Skins. Beauty styles, hairstyles, title text and title colors (colors unlock once with Mirror Shards, switch freely after), and race skins — all staged with a preview and a reset to your original look.

  5. Loadouts: Six Savable Appearance Sets. Save complete appearance configurations, switch between them instantly, unlock extra slots with Mirror Shards, and overwrite any slot at will.

  6. Weapon Category Reorganization. Two-handed hammers and axes moved from Staves & Rods to Blunts & Hammers, where they belong visually. Your unlocks for these weapons moved with them automatically.

Farming Revamp: The First Four Zones

These four are the pilot zones of a full farming revamp — more zones get the same treatment in the following days.

  1. All Three Garden Wings Rebuilt on Official Values. The Forgotten Garden's three wings — Garden of Eva, Garden of Authority and Primeval Garden — have been rebuilt from the ground up: monster stats, experience AND drop tables all updated to official values, spawn layouts cleaned and respread, and misplaced or broken monsters corrected. Each wing keeps its own character; they are three different hunting grounds, not one garden copied three times.

  2. Garden of Eva. The classic wing, dense and evenly spread again. Its lower-tier defenders were raised to level 90 so the whole garden sits in one reward band, and its green-named elites — the Delh Giant and the Garden Apostle — call guards of their own kin to avenge them. Eva's Offerings drop here.

  3. Garden of Authority. The wing of the Shadows: spirit and dragon-kin defenders aligned with Wind, weak to melee blows but heavily armored, fighting at their own deliberate pace. Proper level 80 and 90 tiers, with the Harpe's Guard and the Judge, Bearer of Sacred Power, as its green-named elites — cut one down and Warriors or Scouts of the Shadows answer. Authority Fragments drop from the level 90 Shadows.

  4. Primeval Garden. The overgrown wing, split in two: a level 80 Dire band and a deeper level 90 Kastia band with higher rewards. Strike down its elites and the garden answers in force — Timo's pack and the Archmage's circle arrive on the spot. Corrupt Garden Seeds drop in the Kastia band.

  5. NEW: The Burning Blessing. All three wings share a new reward for hunting their green-named elite monsters. Each elite kill can ignite Burning, a three-tier ladder: Tier 1 grants +50% XP/SP for 30 seconds, Tier 2 extends it to 60 seconds, and Tier 3 — Special Burning — holds for a full 5 minutes at +100% XP/SP while returning a portion of your inflicted damage as MP. To climb, your next elite kill must land while the current tier is still burning, and each step is harder than the last. Special Burning always burns out completely — back to the start of the ladder. Your party shares in the blessing.

  6. NEW: Monster Sync. A brand-new system unique to L2EVA that brings old zones back to life without erasing them. When a level 85+ character engages a synced monster, it rises to level 90 on the spot — stats, experience and drops all scale to match — then returns to normal for its next life. Lower-level characters still fight the zone exactly as it always was, so the original leveling experience is untouched. Champions can spawn among synced monsters too, with rewards to match.

  7. Sea of Spores: the First Sync Zone, and Pure PvE. PvP is disabled inside the Sea of Spores, making it the first true PvE farming zone. Every monster in the basin carries Monster Sync, and the Earth Guardian ambush hits harder: any monster can trigger it, and the guardian arrives with escorts. The zone has no weekly time limit — a safe, uncapped farming option balanced below the Gardens.

  8. NEW: Trinket Trade at Bodyguard Blue. Farming zones now drop zone-unique trinkets — quest items worthless where you find them, worth plenty at the caravan. Bring them to Bodyguard Blue at the Red Libra caravan in Giran and trade them for gear. The first trinkets: 100 Eva's Offerings (Garden of Eva), Authority Fragments (Garden of Authority) or Corrupt Garden Seeds (Primeval Garden) trade into +5 sealed Talisman Packs (Eva, Authority and Speed respectively), and 10 Sea of Spores' Seeds trade into a Master's Collection Mark. The three garden wings share the same weekly hours — where you spend them is your choice.

    Master Skill Fixes

Every master skill across all 21 masters was audited against its in-game description. The client description is the contract — where the skill did something else, the skill was fixed, including where that means a reduction.

  1. Defense Break now weakens the target's physical defense, as described. It previously modified the wrong stat entirely.

  2. Queen now boosts magic skill power per its description (it was boosting magic critical power instead).

  3. Queen's Garden now caps HP potion healing on enemies caught inside it, as described.

  4. Mystic Frost had its magic-critical vulnerability inverted — it was protecting targets from magic crits instead of exposing them. Fixed.

  5. Elemental Resistance now actually grants its listed reflect-damage resistance (it did nothing before).

  6. Rainbow Dispersion now applies its debuff: affected targets are more susceptible to harmful effects and suffer them for longer.

  7. Meteor now knocks targets down as described.

  8. Chaos: Master now cancels up to 3 beneficial effects from the target, as described (the cancel did nothing before).

  9. Shelter now grants the protected ally its listed 10% resistance to multiple-hit attacks.

  10. Challenger now applies its effect at the listed 15%/20% chance.

  11. Cacophony of War now uses its correct 5-minute/3-minute cooldown and hits the number of targets its description states.

  12. Dreams Come True had its values corrected to match its description.

  13. Dark Side: Master — the Speed bonus is corrected down to the listed +10.

  14. Omen — defense and physical skill damage bonuses corrected to the listed values. This is a reduction for some builds.

  15. Light Prison — the Master version's stun no longer leaks onto the base version of the skill.

  16. Condemnation was applying its debuff twice; the duplicate is removed.

  17. Indestructible Blade — its petrify now shows as a proper named debuff other players can see, instead of an anonymous placeholder effect.

  18. Ultimate Death Knight (all three races). Skills cast during Impending Death Whisper now consume zero DP, and the Hellfire cooldown resets on every proc — the two signature behaviors the description promises. The listed Holy resistance and increased received healing now actually apply on all three race versions, and the Human version's promised 8% weapon damage resistance works.

  19. Sephiroth and Element Weaver rebuilt from scratch. These trees were non-functional. Light Influence (both tiers, plus the party version) now grants its magic range, magic skill power, and silence chance; Powerful Light procs fire from your casts and attacks; and Mother Tree's Blessing plants a visible Growing Mother Tree that heals and regenerates the whole party.

    Combat Fixes

  20. "Cannot See Target" On Open Ground — Fixed. A long-standing bug where players standing on flat terrain could not attack enemies in plain sight has been corrected. Line-of-sight now calculates correctly regardless of where the client places you vertically.

  21. Cast Cancellation: No More Silent Failures. Skills that fire after every target has escaped their range now cancel with a clear message instead of silently consuming your MP and soulshots. The game tells you what happened.

  22. Archer Target Lock Skills Now Reach Maximum Range. Double Shot and Lethal Shot now connect at your full firing distance (which varies by class). Previously they failed silently at maximum range, wasting MP, shots and cooldowns against a target that was legitimately reachable.

  23. Mystic Freeze Minimap Artifacts Eliminated. The skill no longer leaves invisible objects accumulating on your minimap.

  24. Pet Evolution Names Corrected. Evolved pets no longer display garbled text strings, and pet names now show correctly in the character panel and rankings.

Honor Grounds Enforcement

  1. Team Spread Enforcement Activated. Clanmates entering the same Honor Grounds match are now split across opposing teams, not grouped together. This completes the fix from the previous patch and enforces fair team composition in every match.

Vote and Community

  1. The New l2eva.com. The website has been redesigned from the ground up — every system documented, six languages, and dramatically faster on every device — in preparation for the catch-up ahead.

  2. Two New Vote Sites. L2JBrasil Top and L2Network are now available as voting destinations.

  3. Vote Rewards Enhanced. Each successful claim now grants 5 Eva's Secret Shop Tickets and 5 Veruti's Coins.

Launcher and Quality of Life

  1. Launcher Lettering Refreshed. The launcher's titles and text now carry the same lettering as the new website — one look across everything L2EVA.

  2. Vote Cooldown Timer Counts Down Live. The launcher's vote timer now updates in real time — no more stale numbers or surprise cooldowns.

  3. Rendering Fix for Older PCs. Launcher performance on older hardware has been restored. If you saw a grey window or high CPU usage, this fix addresses it.
