New Event: Zaken's Ghost Ship

1. Zaken's Ghost Ship Moors at Moon Coast. From today until the 06:30 reset on November 4, the ghost ship moors at the Moon Coast dock for 30 minutes at 12:00, 17:45, 22:15, 00:15 and 03:00 server time (UTC), and its pirate crew pours onto the beach for the whole visit, more of them the more players stand on the shore. The beach is a no-PvP area, dying there costs no XP, and Moon Coast's usual monsters leave the coast while the ship is in.

2. The Legendary Captains. Ten minutes in, Zaken Rose, Legendary First Mate, comes ashore every time and Zaken, Legendary Captain, joins her with a 35% chance; their HP scales with the crowd on the beach. Everyone who fought a captain, and their party members near it, gets 20 Halloween Candy and rolls that captain's treasure, once per account per day for each captain.

3. Halloween Candy. Every crew kill gives 1 Halloween Candy to each party member nearby and Rusty Beard gives 10, up to 60 per account per day (captain candy does not count toward the limit). Candy cannot be traded and disappears 26 days after you get it.

4. Tally's Candy Shop in Giran. Tally, Moon Coast's Messenger, stands in Giran beside the other event NPCs until November 8, 06:30. Kill Effect - Zaken's Curse 300 candy, Armor Appearance - Halloween Outfit 200 candy (one of each per account, yours to keep), Halloween Mask Box 20 candy, 10 Mirror Shard (Sealed) 50 candy.

5. New Kill Effect: Zaken's Curse. Zaken's rapiers fan out over your fallen enemy, the ghost captain's skull rises in his hat, and the blades plunge down in a ring of crescent arcs and embers. An Eva's Mirror kill effect, sold by Tally only.

6. Halloween Masks. A Halloween Mask Box holds 3 of one of six masks: 20 minutes of XP and SP +30% (Jack O'Lantern's Golden Mask: +50%) and a 30% chance to absorb 3% of the damage you deal as MP, worn on your character's head. Masks stack with your other XP buffs, survive death, and expire 26 days after you get them.

7. Captain Treasure on Eva's Grace. Zaken Rose: 5 Halloween Mask Box, 50 Giran Seal, Berserker's Scrolls, Greater Upgrade Stone (50%), 40 Selected Jewel Coupon (60%), Mirror Shards, Agathion Coupons and a 20% chance at each +4 ~ +6 Talisman of Aden, Eva, Speed and Authority Pack. Zaken: 2 Greater and 1 Transcendent Upgrade Stone, 5 Halloween Mask Box, 50 Giran Seal, 4 Daily Enchant Scroll Pack, 10 Mirror Shard (Sealed), 80 Selected Jewel Coupon (60%), 15 Agathion Coupon (80%) and a 20% chance at each +4 ~ +6 Cloak of Protection, Dragon Belt, Circlet of Hero and Phantom Mask Pack.

8. Captain Treasure on Eva's Rise. Zaken Rose: 5 Halloween Mask Box, 3 Master's Collection Mark, Berserker's Scrolls, a 50% chance each at 5 Aden's Soul Crystal Lv. 1 - Weapon, 5 Aden's Soul Crystal Lv. 1 - Armor and 5 Hardin's Soul Crystal Lv. 1, Selected Jewel Coupons, Mirror Shards, Agathion Coupons, Enhanced Spellbook (15%) and Doll Summon Coupons (Common 25%, Enhanced 12%). Zaken: 5 of each soul crystal, 5 Halloween Mask Box, 4 Daily Enchant Scroll Pack, 4 Master's Collection Mark, 10 Mirror Shard (Sealed), 40 Selected Jewel Coupon (60%), Agathion Coupons, Enhanced Spellbook (25%), Superior Spellbook (10%) and Doll Summon Coupons (Common 30%, Enhanced 15%).

9. The Ship in Your HUD, Records and Timeline. While the ship is in, a Ghost Ship tile in your notification HUD counts down to its departure; click it to sail to the beach for free (level 76+, out of combat, once every 30 seconds). The Records window gets an Event group with your candy today and each captain's treasure, and the Event Timeline shows every visit.

10. Five Halloween Emojis. A pumpkin, a ghost, a bat, a candy and Zaken himself join the premium chat emojis, 20 Mirror Shard (Sealed) each in the emoji picker.

    Eva's Rise: Stage 2

11. Stage 2 Enchant Limits. Talisman of Aden +8 (Blessed +7); Cloak of Protection and the five Agathions +8; Talisman of Speed, Eva and Authority, Dragon Belt, Circlet of Hero, Phantom Mask and Piercing Mask +6 (Blessed +5). Weapons and armor stay at +5.

12. Stage 2 Compound and Dye Limits. Brooch, Agathion Bracelet and Talisman Bracelet Lv. 5, jewels Lv. 6, Einhasad's Pendant Lv. 4, Aden's and Hardin's Soul Crystals Lv. 10, dyes Lv. 9.

13. Blessed Crafts Open on Eva's Rise. The Special Craft now turns two copies of the same item into its Blessed version: Blessed Talisman of Aden +4 to +7, and +4 / +5 Blessed Talisman of Authority, Speed and Eva, Blessed Piercing Mask, Blessed Phantom Mask, Blessed Circlet of Hero and Blessed Dragon Belt.

14. Stage 1 Catchup Box. On the L-Coin Store's Home tab for 100 Adena, once per character from level 65: a full Stage 1 set (Talisman of Aden +7, Blessed Talismans of Authority, Speed and Eva +4, Cloak of Protection +7, Dragon Belt +4, Circlet of Hero +5, Phantom and Piercing Mask +4, the six jewels Lv. 4, the five Agathions +7, Venir's Talisman Lv. 6) plus 3 Enhanced, 2 Superior and 1 Rare Spellbook. The gear is marked Stage 1: it cannot be enchanted, compounded, traded or used in crafts and collections, and it takes the slot of the regular version of the same item.

Elemental Spirits

1. Spirit Evolution Works Again. Evolving a spirit failed with "Unknown error" since the Spirit Evolution Stones were sealed on October 14; it now takes the sealed stones as it should.

2. Talent Points Give the Official Bonuses. Talent bonuses now follow the official table and grow with every point spent (Attack 3 at 1 point to 133 at 30, Defense 6 to 240, Critical Rate and Critical Damage 1 to 45), and a stage 5 spirit can put 30 points into each stat instead of 25. Your spent points are kept as they are.

3. Spirit Fees and Prices. Extracting a spirit (1,000,000 Adena) and resetting its talents (50,000 Adena) no longer charge when there is nothing to extract or reset. Svein's Spirit Evolution Stones now cost 500,000 Adena each, and Water Spirit Ore can no longer be sold to shops, like the other three ores.

Bug Fixes

1. Timed Zone Timer No Longer Runs Fast. The zone timer no longer counts down too quickly after a Time Stone or a dungeon queue inside a timed zone. Only the display was wrong; your time was always counted correctly.

2. No Charge for Deaths That Cost No XP. Where you lose no XP on death, such as the Ghost Ship beach, the clan hall / castle revive and the paid XP restore no longer use a free respawn or charge L-Coin.
