New Guardian Companions
-
Three New Guardians Join the Fight. Powerful new companions have arrived, each with its own playstyle:
- Raven fights with a spear, dealing heavy damage while holding the front line.
- Vulcan swings a great hammer as a front-line bruiser.
- Glassia is a spellcaster that fights from range.
Each guardian grows through several evolution stages, equips its own weapons and armor, learns its own skills, and empowers you with buffs while it fights at your side.
-
How to Get a Guardian. Guardians are earned with Eva's Blessing Crystals from Eva's Bounty bosses. Visit a Guardian Manager to trade your crystals for Guardian Coupons, then exchange those coupons for the guardian of your choice. Their gear, accessories, and evolution manuals are available from the Guardian Managers as well.
Pets & Servitors
-
They Keep Up With You. If your pet or servitor falls too far behind, it now teleports back to your side instead of vanishing.
-
Pet Rankings Fixed. The pet rankings window was showing wrong rank numbers. It now displays your pet's correct server rank and type rank.
Classes & Skills
-
Backstab Feels Sharp Again. Backstab had a long, clunky cast delay that made it slow to land. It now fires quickly and smoothly, in line with other rush attacks.
-
Long-Range Skills Hold Their Ground. After using a long-range physical attack skill on a monster, your character no longer automatically jogs into melee range. Charge and dash skills that are meant to close the gap still work exactly as before.
-
Duelist. Duelist's Eva's Balance bonus has been reduced.
-
Doombringer. Doombringer now deals more damage in both PvE and PvP.
Raids & PvP
- Faster Raid Alerts. If you subscribe to raid boss alerts on Discord, the direct messages now arrive within seconds of a spawn instead of up to a minute or two later.
Autohunt
-
Range Settings Fixed. The autohunt attack-range sliders now match the ranges the server actually uses. No more setting a distance that quietly did nothing. Short-range and long-range each cover their true span.
-
Area Marker Fixed. The circle that marks your autohunt zone no longer disappears at certain camera angles, such as inside the Tower of Insolence.
Quality of Life
- Zoom Out Further. The camera can now pull back further, giving you a wider view of the battlefield.
Performance
- Smoother Big Battles. In large fights, the glowing buff and debuff auras on other players and monsters are now hidden once an area gets crowded, removing a major cause of frame-rate drops in mass PvP and at raid bosses. Your own effects always stay visible. You can also turn these visual effects off yourself at any time using the Visuals toggle in Eva's Hall.
