Celestial Tower
-
Celestial Tower Rebuilt. The Celestial Tower now runs properly on the three-week rotation with Kelbim's Fortress and Pagan Temple. This is its week. Entry is level 88+, the weekly time is 10 hours, extendable to 110 hours with Time Stones, and Yani's teleports to the Lv. 89, 91 and 94 floors cost 150k, 300k and 500k adena.
-
Tower Monsters Fixed. Every monster in the tower was rebuilt with official stats, drops and names. The Lv. 94 floor has more monsters than before. Monsters resistances match the target window.
-
Friday Special Spawns. On Fridays from 18:00 to midnight, like Kelbim's Fortress, 180 elite monsters spawn among the regulars across the Lv. 89 and 91 camps, with an Archangel leading the larger ones. They aggro from further away and call the camp to help.
-
Titled Monster Bonus. Killing an Apostle or Foreteller has a 10% chance to summon an Archbishop on the spot; killing a Sealed Angel or Archangel can summon an Illusory Judge. Both are stronger and worth more, and despawn after 5 minutes.
-
Divine Essence. Every Celestial Tower monster can drop Divine Essence, the tower's signature material. 100 Divine Essence exchange into an Angel Wing Feather, the Heavenly Talisman craft material.
Eva's Bounty
-
Ferion, Eva's Bounty Tier 5. The Celestial Emperor spawns in the centre of the tower on Fridays at 22:00 during the tower's week and stays for 3 hours; PvP is on around him. At 75%, 50%, 25% and 10% health he calls a wave of four Praetorians and is immune until they are dead. His kit: Magnetism slows the tank, Chain pulls and petrifies the farthest player, Missile scatters the raid with a knockback and stun, Lightning paralyzes everyone around him, and Hurricane bleeds. The Praetorians stun and fear on hit.
-
Ferion Individual Drops. Rolled for every participant: a Boss Weapon Coupon (5%), a Heroic Doll Summon Coupon - Ferion (1%), 1-2 Time Extension Stones on every kill, and the sealed pet books Fox Call, Raven's Gate, Iron Age and Avalanche at 1% each. Ferion's Necklace is on his raid loot table.
-
Tier 5 Bosses Hit Harder. Beleth, Kelbim and Ferion were being healed through by full raids with nobody dying. Their nukes now ignore half of your defense, the big telegraphed ones land for around 35,000 on a geared player, and their filler attacks cut healing and potions received by 50% for 8 seconds. Their crowd control always lands. Their adds have three times the defense, retarget a healer every 10 seconds, and Beleth's Slaves stun on hit. Every Tier 5 boss enrages for certain after 15 minutes of combat, and his damage then climbs 15% a minute up to triple.
-
Enrage Actually Held. A bug erased a Bounty boss's enrage damage bonus within a minute of it triggering, on every boss since enrage was introduced. Fixed.
-
Kelbim and Ferion Teleports. Both bosses now have their own Bounty teleport points, so the teleport lands you at the fight instead of a random spot near the spawn.
-
Raid Loot Auction. Tier 3 and higher Bounty bosses now roll their raid loot table on top of the individual drops. Priced items go up for a 3-minute bid among the winning command channel's eligible members: bids rise in 10% steps, the maximum price buys it outright, 10% of the winning bid is burned and the rest is split among the members by mail. Unpriced items are mailed to a random eligible member. The contester clan and the top participating clan get their own roll at reduced chances. To be eligible you need to be active in the fight, in the command channel, and in your clan for 24 hours; parked characters get nothing. The bid window reaches you anywhere online.
-
Boss Loot Tables Updated. Kelbim, Beleth, Darion, Baium and Hermit Beoro roll the tradable Heroic Guardian Books (Fox Call, Raven's Gate, Iron Age, Avalanche). Beleth, Darion, Lilith, Anakim, Katuba, Kelbim, Ferion, Baium and Scarlet roll a Heroic Doll Summon Coupon; these coupons cannot be traded. Baium's archangels no longer drop anything.
-
Epic Bosses Always Drop Something. Queen Ant, Core, Orfen and Zaken had no guaranteed drop at all. Every kill now drops 1-3 Augmenting Stones and an A-grade Armor Pack, with Blessed Augmenting Stones at 20%, and each boss drops its own epic crystal at 10%.
-
Honor Marks Need Activity. Honor marks for a Bounty kill now require having actually fought, like every other reward. A parked character in a command channel earned them for nothing.
Olympiad
-
Real Parties in Team Matches. 3v3 teams are now a real party for the match: party window, click-to-target, assist and every party skill work on your teammates, and Chain Heal reaches them. The side panel shows the enemy team only (with tonight's client patch). You cannot leave, kick or invite inside the arena.
-
Points by Contribution. Team match points are no longer a random roll. A win pays a pot of 30 points per eligible member, scaled by how strong the opposing team was, split by contribution (damage dealt, healing and damage taken). A loss pays 8, a draw 15. Anyone who did not take part, was absent, disconnected or kicked records a loss with zero points, and the match still counts.
-
AFK Kick. A competitor who takes no action for 60 seconds after the battle starts is removed, counted as a loss, and free to queue again.
-
Class Locks at Match Start. Your class is locked for the Olympiad week when a match starts, not when you register. Registering, cancelling and switching class no longer locks you out with zero fights.
-
No Registering From Baium. Registration is refused inside no-escape zones such as Baium's lair, and a pending registration is cancelled when you enter one. If you were already selected for a match, you are recorded as absent.
-
Olympiad Fixes. Ally members are kept on opposite teams like clan mates when teams are balanced. Shelter and other friendly skills no longer land on opposing clan and ally members in the 10 seconds before the fight. A team match no longer ends when one player logs out. Your match counter ticks the moment you are matched, so logging out to dodge a strong draw no longer works. A defeated competitor's corpse stays hidden from everyone. A no-show match pays correctly, and hero skills are no longer granted on a non-hero class after a match.
-
Hero Portraits. The hero ranking window no longer shows blank portraits for class-changed heroes, and the portrait follows the hero class rather than the character's current race. Arrives with tonight's client patch.
Combat
-
Taunts Pin Your Target. While a tank's Aggression is on you, your target stays on the tank: clicking elsewhere, /targetnext and /nextenemy are refused with "Failed to change target", and your pet or servitor is pinned too. Friendly skills still go to your allies. Autohunt in PvE mode ignores taunts so farming characters cannot be dragged.
-
Leopold and Resonance Tempest. Both now ignore the target's defense as their descriptions say.
-
Sacral Strike and Elemental Change Procs. Sacral Strike, Purify, their Noblesse versions and the Sylph's Elemental Change skills rolled their weapon proc twice per target; they roll once now.
Items
-
Missing Necklace Augments Restored. Einhasad's Necklace, Majestic Necklace and Phoenix Necklace were losing two whole roll categories on augmentation, 120 options in total (P./M. Accuracy, P./M. Evasion, Max HP, Max MP). They roll again.
-
Augment Options Corrected. P. Evasion options were giving Accuracy; M. Evasion, Received M. Skill Critical Damage, Received Damage on Blessed Accessories (the -1.2% to -1.9% tiers), Skill Power, Max MP/CP, M. Def, P./M. Def, M. Atk, M. Damage Resistance and Melee Weapon Resistance options were one tier off from their descriptions. All corrected.
-
Item Skills Corrected. Kelbim Doll's knockback, deport and psychic rates, Antharas Doll's shot resistance, Aztacan's Oracle Scepter at +6 and Baium Doll level 6 now match their descriptions.
-
Berserker's Shield. Every level of the shield's skill was rewritten from its descriptions: flat HP, MP and defense bonuses, damage and critical resistances, cancel and paralysis resistance, pull resistance and PvE damage.
-
XP Boosters No Longer Stack. Dandy's Home Run Ball and Fish Stew were stacking with Einhasad's Protection and the other XP scrolls. As their descriptions say, only the strongest effect applies: Protection and Dandy's Ball (100%) over Blessing Scroll (50%) over Fish Stew Lv 2 (30%) over Seal and Veruti (20%) over Fish Stew Lv 1 (10%).
Events
-
Summer Forge Has Ended. Vulcan has left Giran and Aden. The Guardian's Runes and Guardian's Coins have been removed from all characters and warehouses.
Quality of Life
-
Timed Collections Expire Cleanly. When a timed collection runs out, the collection window and its effects now update on the spot instead of showing the old state until you relog. Arrives with tonight's client patch.
-
Olympiad Window Cleanup. A teammate who logs out during the countdown no longer leaves a stale row in the match panel. Arrives with tonight's client patch.
Launcher (2.3.6 to 2.3.9)
-
Vulkan Renderer Settings. Three new rows under the Vulkan renderer: Atmospheric Haze, Low Latency, and DLSS 5 neural rendering. DLSS 5 needs an NVIDIA RTX 20-series or newer with driver 616.56+ and the DLSS 5 runtime file in your client's system folder; it stays greyed out otherwise. The home screen shows a VULKAN pill with your GPU's status, and the launcher checks your card before letting you enable the renderer at all.
-
Alerts in Your Language. Raid and death alerts on Discord, Telegram and as Windows toasts now come in your language. The Alerts card lets you pick it. Players subscribed on Telegram only were receiving nothing at all; fixed.
-
Login Lockout Fixed. After a password change, the launcher kept retrying the old password in the background until the whole household was locked out with "too many attempts". A password the server rejected is never retried on its own now; re-enter it and you are back in.
-
Virtual Machines Blocked. The launcher's virtual machine check had been silently letting every VM through since mid-August. It works again: virtual machines cannot run the client. Hyper-V, WSL2 and Core Isolation on real hardware are fine.
-
Launcher Fixes. Store purchases confirm the price you saw and tell you when a delivery failed and your balance was returned. Windows toasts show "L2EVA Launcher" instead of "Electron". The bounty tile no longer wraps at 10,000+ tokens.
Vulkan Renderer
-
Teleport Stutter Fixed. Every teleport used to leave the game hitching every 2 seconds until you tabbed out and back. Fixed. The client also no longer drops to a background frame rate when an overlay or another window takes focus; only a minimized client counts as background.
-
Real Fullscreen Presentation. The borderless window now gets hardware flip: G-Sync and FreeSync engage, frame generation actually reaches your monitor, and the 16-fps state after a focus change is gone.
-
Atmospheric Haze. Distance haze in the zone's own fog colour, day, night and interiors, stable across teleports and camera turns. On by default, toggle in the launcher.
-
UI Untouched by Effects. The interface is now drawn on its own layer: no more ambient occlusion, sharpen or bloom bleeding into chat, windows and tooltips, and frame generation no longer corrupts the HUD. Bloom no longer whitens the sky, frame generation's motion analysis now covers the whole screen (it only ever covered the top rows before) and it has guards against ghosting on fast pans.
-
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering. Optional on RTX cards: NVIDIA's neural renderer re-renders every frame in real time with AI, refining lighting, shadows and surfaces. It is very taxing. For playable frame rates you want an RTX 3090, 4080, 4090, 5080 or 5090. On weaker cards it works but is meant for screenshots, not gameplay. Off by default; expect the most on structures and newer models.
-
Low Latency. Reduced input latency on every card, on by default.
Website (play.l2eva.com)
-
The Redesign Is Live. play.l2eva.com has a new design end to end: new navigation, a dashboard with activity, stats and characters panels, a vote panel, live server status with your ping to every region, and a proper mobile layout with a collapsible dock.
-
Mail, Friends, Rankings, Characters. The mail page shows attachments with item icons and lets you read the full message; the friend list shows who is online and lets you mail a friend; rankings show class marks and sort correctly; My Characters shows each character's play sessions with time played, XP, adena and monsters.
-
Shop and Balance. Purchase, redeem-code, gift-balance and top-up open as panels like the launcher's, and the History section is now a full ledger of top-ups, purchases, gifts and codes.
-
Crypto Top-Ups Fixed. The 25 EUR minimum on crypto top-ups was our bug, not the provider's; the real minimum is around 5 EUR and that is what you get now. You also choose the network yourself: USDT on Tron, BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon or Ethereum, USDC on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum or Ethereum. Before, USDC always meant Ethereum with its fees.
-
Card and PayPal Payments Are Safe. Closing the tab or losing the connection during a Stripe or PayPal payment used to leave you charged and uncredited. The order is now recorded before you pay and credited by the provider's confirmation, whatever happens to the browser.
-
Mini Games. The mini games page and slots were rebuilt: real spinning reels, honest payouts, and the leaderboard and rewards on one screen.
-
Account and Security. Six-box code entry for 2FA and e-mail codes, login history that includes launcher logins, verified devices, and redesigned e-mails sent in your account's language. Changing your e-mail or password now asks for your current password, and e-mailed codes expire after 15 minutes. IPv6 connections are supported everywhere.
-
Six Languages, Fully Translated. English, Greek, Russian, Spanish, Polish and Portuguese, every string on the site.
-
Downloads and Support. The install and guide pages were rebuilt as a walkthrough with minimum and recommended specs, and the support page as a short guide: in game, /ticket opens Eva's whisper and she files the ticket for you.
