Eva's Rise
-
Eva's Rise Open Beta Is Live. The new server opens today for everyone, reachable through every region in the launcher. The beta runs until the launch on October 9, when characters are wiped and the real start begins. Everything you test now is how launch day will play.
-
Quartermaster Tess, Your Test Assistant. On Eva's Rise and Eva's Trial, Tess stands at the event spot in Giran. She hands out currency, sets your level between 76 and 95, grants or wipes dolls and collections, teaches or removes every skill, and runs nine shops where weapons, armor, cloaks, talismans, agathions, epic jewels, skill enchant coupons and dyes cost 1 adena each. The L-Coin store has no purchase limits on the test servers.
Events
-
Boss Slaughter Replaces Battle with Balok. The daily 20:30 battlefield is now the official Boss Extermination event at level 85+, and it pays like one: battlefield monsters give 22,700 XP each (was 3,500) and the five mid-bosses 1,741,824 XP each (was 276,480). The trash and the mid-bosses lead to a finale against one of five bosses (Ekimus, Harp, Crook, Baylor or Tiat); on one day in ten Queen Istina takes the field instead, and a Burial Beetle follows the final kill as a bonus.
-
Boss Purses. Every boss carries a purse paid out on death to everyone who dealt at least 0.25 % of its HP: 30 % split evenly, 70 % by damage. Mid-bosses pay 1M adena and 10,000 points, the final boss 5M and 30,000, Queen Istina 10M and 50,000. Battlefield monsters drop 8,000 to 12,000 adena and no hit on them lands for more than 20,000.
-
Boss Slaughter Rewards. Victory chests now hold a Supply Order plus a weighted roll of extra rewards; a defeat still pays one Supply Order. The top 100 of the ranking receive 100 Special HP Recovery Potions by mail, the top 10 wear their rank over their heads during the battle, and the new mission On the Boss Extermination Battlefield is at level 85+. The battlefield announces the time left, wave progress, boss HP and the Beetle countdown, and trash stops respawning once the final boss arrives.
-
Orc Fortress Battle Reworked. The daily 20:00 to 20:30 battle runs on the official layout with level 85 monsters at official XP: the orcs now give 51,885 XP, officers up to 95,000 and the Great Generals 124,500, where the old rows paid a third to a ninth of that. Every kill drops adena: 8,000 to 12,000 from the orcs, 20,000 to 30,000 from officers, 40,000 to 60,000 from the Great Generals and the Gregs. At minute 10 a giant, Amad or Deraka, appears with HP scaled to the players present; the keep's gates stay sealed until it dies. Its death pays a 10M adena purse by damage share and one Supply Order to every hitter, then three Gregs spawn at random spots outside the keep and each one drops a combat flag when killed.
-
Flags and the Fortress Owner. Carrying a flag grants your class's Flag Power and Remote Flag Display (30 % chance from 1,100 range); you cannot use attack skills or swap equipment while carrying it. Capturing the fortress puts 30M adena into the clan's vault and grants the Orc Fortress Owner skill; the Supply Officer inside sells Blessed Spiritshots to the owning clan at 46 adena. Server-wide announcements cover the countdown, the giant, the Gregs and every flag.
Items & Economy
-
Item Seal. Seal any weapon, armor or accessory with an Item Seal Scroll, sold for 100 adena in the L-Coin store. A sealed item cannot be traded, dropped, sold, destroyed, enchanted, augmented, ensouled or changed in any way, and a character holding sealed items cannot be deleted. To release a seal, order the free Release Service on play.l2eva.com; it needs a code sent to your account email and delivers a box of 15 Release Scrolls by in-game mail. Open the box only when you are ready: the scrolls last 15 minutes.
-
Heavenly Talisman Fixed. Since the Celestial Destiny update the Heavenly Talisman gave less than it should: +4 granted 600 where it should grant 1,000, +10 granted 1,200 instead of 2,500. Every level now pays its tooltip, and the +10 talisman also reduces received damage by 2 %.
-
Blessed Heavenly Talisman. Craft it in Special Craft from two Heavenly Talismans of the same enchant level; the blessed one enchants with the same scrolls and stones as the regular one.
-
Hardin's Transcendent Soul Crystal. The five Hardin transcendent tiers from the new client are in: flat P./M. Atk up to +5,000, skill power up to +8 %, STR or INT up to +5 and XP/SP up to +50 % at tier 5. Their stones and fees are at Hardin, the crystals come from compounding.
-
Venir's and Hellbound's Transcendent Talismans by Compounding. Compound two Venir's Talismans Lv. 30 for a 30 % chance at Venir's Transcendent Talisman, or two Talismans of Hellbound Lv. 10 for a 6 % chance at the Transcendent Talisman of Hellbound; a failure returns one of the two. An Incredible Enhancement Stone in the second slot works too, at 1.2 % and 0.3 %. Both results are sealed and cannot be traded.
-
Transcendent Crystals. Aden Weapon, Aden Armor and Hardin Lv. 20 crystals no longer have a compound limit, and their transcendent results are untradable. Every transcendent compound step and every transcendent talisman enchant from +1 is announced server-wide.
-
Combat Power Recounted. Blessing an upper or lower body piece now counts 2 combat power, a blessed cloak counts 1, and blessing counts on every grade from A upward. Aden transcendent weapon crystal levels 21 to 25 finally grant their stats and combat power (nine of eleven options pointed at nothing). Venir's Talisman Lv. 24 carries its 3 combat power like its neighbours.
-
Giran Purge Supply Pack. The Supply Pack - Giran Territory Purge sat in the quest tab and could not be opened. It opens now.
Pets & Guardians
-
Guardian Power Extraction Works Again. Extraction was refusing every guardian and, on a refusal, deleting it. The fee is now the official flat 300,000,000 adena per extraction, guardians of level 81 and above yield High-grade essence, and a refused extraction keeps your guardian. Empty the guardian's inventory before extracting.
-
Guardian XP Items Corrected. High-grade Guardian Essence gives 2,000,000,000 XP (it was cut to 20,000,000 in a September audit), Blue Lantern gives 100,000,000 and Red Lantern 2,000,000,000, matching the guardian XP scale.
-
Buffalo Pulling Body Gathers Archers. Pulling Body now makes ranged monsters walk to the buffalo and fight it in place, like on official, instead of shooting it from range. The buffalo roots itself for 3 seconds on the pull. Bosses and Eva's Bounty monsters are not pulled.
Skills & Combat
-
Transcendent Zone Skills for Every Class. In the Transcendent zone your skills now swap to their transcendent versions exactly as the client shows them: Soul Hound's Through Strike and Flash Dash, Storm Blaster's Greater Wind Shot, the Muse and Dancer Frantic Pace chains, Mystic Muse's Relict, the healers' beams under their own class blessings, the Death Knight Wipeouts, the Varkas wolf forms and Howl, Samurai Pursuit and Maneuver. Guardians and summons swap with you.
-
Aden Laboratory Tooltip. Hovering a special option on the Aden Lab window showed the stage-1 value whatever grade you had rolled. It shows your confirmed grade now.
-
Autohunt Reaches Swimming Monsters. Autohunt refused floating targets with "target not found". It now hunts the underwater monsters of Water Dragon's Canyon and every other flying or swimming target.
Appearance
-
Race Skin Body Choice. Human and Orc race skins let you pick the fighter or the mystic body; one unlock covers both, and your own race can take its other body too. The choice sits next to the sex buttons in Eva's Mirror and shows in the character lobby.
-
Prestige Cloaks Reset Weekly. The Honor Grounds, PvP and Bounty prestige cloak looks are stripped from everyone at the Monday 06:30 reset; last week's cloaks had been surviving it on players who stayed online. The new week's winners apply theirs from the Mirror.
Honor Grounds
- Same-Household Rule. Two accounts from one home can join the same match again. Two clients on one PC are still blocked.
World
-
Aden Fixes. "To town" in Aden landed players inside a locked garden after a death, a kick or a relog from a timed zone; the four bad restart points are gone. Roo-roo, the unreachable Information Broker, has left the city.
-
Water Dragon's Canyon Swimmers. The underwater monsters swam along the seabed, half buried; all 774 of them now float in open water between the bottom and the surface.
-
Eva's Whisper Quests. Eva no longer sends you to Giant's Cave's middle and inner floors (their race changes every 4 hours) or to the retired mining families, and every zone's level band and monster list matches the rebuilt maps.
Launcher & Remote Play
-
Remote Play Fixed for Everyone. At the September 25 opening the stream host died the moment it started on almost every PC, so only a handful of players ever connected. Launcher 2.4.6 fixed it; 2.4.7 fixed the "connected but no video" picture on Windows 10 windowed clients and brought NVENC encoding to older NVIDIA drivers (GTX 10 and 16 series). The viewer now names the browser when it cannot show video and offers Open in Chrome on Android.
-
Camera Zoom. The extended zoom-out distance is back on the Celestial Destiny client.
Website
-
Class Balance Sheet Published. The class tier board promised with the last update is live at l2eva.com under Progression, Eva's Balance: per-class PvE, PvP and defence tiers on both gear profiles, in six languages.
-
New Pages. The Celestial Destiny page, the Remote Play guide and the Eva's Rise countdown are on l2eva.com; a fact-check pass corrected the site's numbers in all six languages.
